Henry A. Christman

Henry A. Christman, 92, of Akron, died on August 25, 2023. He was born on October 3, 1930 to Carl and Sylvia (nee Grove) Christman.
Henry graduated from South High School, joined the US Air Force and retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber. In his free time, he enjoyed golf, bowling, photography, racing, woodworking, Cleveland Sports teams, skiing and airplanes.
Preceded in death by wife, Carole Ann Christman, of 65 years, parents, and sisters, Rosamond Jolly and Lavonne Harris. He is survived by daughters, Karen (Joseph) Molnar of Portage Lakes, Kelly (Michael) Schubert of Uniontown and Noelle (Robert) Grady of Clearwater, FL; grandchildren, Laura Molnar, Renea Schubert, Brian (Angela) Molnar, Kenneth (Sheri) Schubert, Nicholas (Samira) Grady and Melanie Grady; great grandchildren, Austin, Emma, Mason, Colton, Kennedy, Madelyn, Mallory, Bonnie, Emerson and Isla; sister, Beverly Kleinhanzl and many other loving family and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff and friends at the Brookdale Community. 

Calling Hours will be held WEDNESDAY, September 6, 2023 from 10:30AM – Noon at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd. Akron, 44333. Funeral service to follow at Noon with burial at Rose Hill Burial Park with Air Force Honors.
