George Drop Obituary
George S. Drop, age 85, of Akron, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 13, 2023.
He was born March 11, 1938; son of the late Steven and Agnes (nee Binder) Drop. George was a hard worker and had a long career of over 40 years at Goodyear until his retirement. He was an avid golfer and a member of Silver Lake Country Club.
George is preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Joanne Drop.
He is survived by his cherished daughter, Susan (Anna Todarello) Drop; treasured son, Mark (Mimi) Drop; and his beloved grandson, Dylan Drop.
Cremation will take place. No service is planned. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in George’s name can be made to Arrowhead School Land Lab, c/o Copley-Fairlawn City Schools, 3797 Ridgewood Rd., Copley, OH 44321.
