Dean Shaffer, Sr. Obituary

Dean W. Shaffer Sr., of Hudson, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 24, 2022 at age 95. Now he is free.

Dean was a veteran, serving in the United States Army during World War II and was honorably discharged in 1946. He went on to graduate from Wittenberg College in 1950. He began working at Ferriot, Inc. in 1955, retiring in 1992 as Vice President of the Injection Molding Division.

Dean is preceded by his beloved wife of 68 years, Jean Shaffer (nee Ferriot) who passed away July 30, 2018. He is survived by his two sons, Dean Shaffer Jr. and David Shaffer, as well as two daughters-in-law, Tammy Stefan Shaffer and Dori Shaffer.

All services are private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
