We are heartbroken and sorrowed to announce the passing of Dan R Arman, “All Hail the Traveler!” “Don’t you Porget About Me” 
From River of Dreams to Death Stew: From Parma where he was born to Akron where he made his home and became a best selling author and 9th grade teacher. This kind fun loving goofy guy, has made many friends and will be missed by all.  He left behind (his immediate family) his wife of 6 years Mary Arman, and their newly adopted daughter, Mayra Arman 18. (His chosen family) Andy Hopps and the rest of the Oddmall group. Mother: Karen Arman and Father: Dan Arman. His brother: Brian Arman, Brian's wife Amber and their family.

His death occurred unexpectedly on Friday May 19, 2023. He was pronounced dead at 2:00 PM at Akron General Medical Center from complications of pleural effusion followed by a massive heart attack.

Anyone not going to the burial can view the burial live via his personal facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/dan.r.arman)  at the celebration of life dinner at the funeral home.  Any and all guests attending the dinner are encouraged to wear or bring something Star Wars related in order to honor his favorite love story. Any figurines or toys are going to go to toys for tots upon the appropriate season. (please bring toys that follow the toys for tots guidelines.)

Funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday June 1, 2023 at the Billow Funeral Home, 85 N. Miller Rd. Fairlawn, Ohio 44333 with Deacon Robin Adair officiating. Family and friends may visit from 4-8 PM on Wednesday May 31, 2023 at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville. The Celebration of Life dinner will be at the Billow Funeral Home on Thursday from 1-4 PM, immediately following the burial.
