Richard "Dick" Berardi
Dick passed peacefully at home with family on September 29th. A lifelong resident of Fairlawn, he was a devoted and caring husband, patient and loving father, a kind, calm man who enjoyed life to the fullest in the most simplistic ways.
Dick attended schools in Akron and graduated from Akron University. He was a teacher in local schools, a partner in business with his brother, and long time real estate broker of Fairlawn Realty.
He was a popular local pianist like his father. He never tired of creating music or jamming with his many jazz friends. He loved Cleveland sports, playing chess, and watching the horses at "the Oval."
Gone before him are his parents, Ralph and Eleanor (Nuosce); sister, Jean Dobrin, and brother, Frank. Left to always remember are his wife, Joyce (Sabol); sons, Andrew (Laura) and Jonathan and grandson, Rhett.
