Philip Ciano Obituary
Philip J. Ciano passed away on Jan. 3, 2019 due to complications of diabetes.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Joseph and Mary Gertrude Ciano. Philip had cerebral palsy and many health issues but they didn't stop him from having a productive life. He worked as a mail carrier for the Defense Department in Columbus for many years before coming home to Akron to be with his mother and father. In 2012 he became a resident of Brookdale which he considered family. He was known for always helping others and his love of trivia. He will be missed by everyone that knew him. The family thanks Brookdale of Bath and Brookdale Hospice for taking such good care of him.
Services will be held 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Mausoleum Chapel at Holy Cross Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your favorite charity. (Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel)
