Max Hertig
Max Hertig was born to Alfred and Elizabeth Hertig on May 24, 1924. He was their 7th child joining Hans, Greta, Otto, Paul, Clare, and Fred. He was raised in the small town of Trubschachen, Switzerland where he attended the Apostolic Christian Church and went to school. He graduated from college in Zurich with a degree in Electrical Engineering and married Dorothy Emma Ruegger from Zurich in 1952. They immigrated to Toronto, Canada in 1953. He then took a job offer from G.A. Braun in Syracuse where they moved to in 1956. He worked there until his retirement at age 62. He is survived by his children, Barbara, Christine, Tom and Karen and their spouses Bryan, Carl, Aimee and Peter. He has 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was a dedicated member, minister, and elder of the Apostolic Christian Church for his entire adult life and served his Lord in many different ways. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Dorli in 2015. In lieu of flowers please make donation to Apostolic Christian Church Foundation.
