Gloria Kowalyshyn Antonuk, 92, died on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Rockynol Assisted Living Center in Akron, Ohio.

Gloria Kowalyshyn was born on April 19, 1926 in Northampton, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Northampton Senior High School on June 10, 1943. She worked at her family's general store in Northampton. Gloria married Eugene Sam Antonuk on September 20, 1958 in Northampton. Thay had two sons, Theodore Eugene Antonuk (December 5, 1959) and Thomas Paul Antonuk (February 15, 1964). Gloria lived in Akron with her family since 1958, Gloria entered Rockynol on November 17, 2016. We would like to thank everyone at Rockynol for taking care of her during this time.

Gloria was preceded in death by her father, Stephen Kowalyshyn, Sr.; mother, Anna Kuzyk Kowalyshyn; brother, State Representative Russell Kowalyshyn; brother, Stephen Kowalyshyn, Jr.; sister-in-law, Martha Kowalyshyn; brother-in-law, Michael Dorosh, Jr.; brother-in-law, Lt. Col. John Fedko, Sr.; father-in-law, Sam Antonuk; mother-in-law, Mary Antonuk; sister-in-law, Olga Mack; niece, Dr. Lynn Mack; husband, Eugene Sam Antonuk (August 8, 1918 - October 19, 2001); and son, Theodore Eugene Antonuk (December 5, 1959 - January 29, 2009). Gloria is survived by her son, Thomas Paul Antonuk; sister, Olga Dorosh; sister, Catherine Fedko; brother, Dr. Theodore Kowalyshyn; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Kowalyshyn; sister, Mary Ann Dworakivsky; brother-in-law, Walter Dworakivsky; and many nephews, nieces and friends.

Services will be held 11 a.m. SATURDAY at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., Fr. John Nakonachny officiating. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call at the Funeral Home one hour prior to the service Saturday. (Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel)
