Geraldine Lowrey Auld

Geraldine Lowrey Auld, 84, died September 27, 2017.
She was born on February 14, 1933 in Washington, PA to the late David and Esther (Dean) Lowrey. She had retired in 1995 from the Hudson Board of Education as a dietician and had also worked for Aultman Hospital, Mercy Medical Center and Akron City Hospital. She was a member of The Church in Silver Lake, where she taught Sunday school for 20 years. She enjoyed sewing and traveling.
One of eleven kids growing up, and having 5 of her own, the role of family in her life was immense. She is mourned by her husband Bill, with whom she celebrated more than 60 years of loving marriage, and children Bonnie (Douglas) Hanggi, Aaron (Theresa) Auld, Shannon (John) Snare, Heather Auld and Bill Auld; grandchildren, Alan, Shawn, Megan, Devin, Kathryn and Gwendolyn; and great-grandchildren, Calloway and Elliott; and her siblings, Robert (Kathy) Lowrey and Rebecca Miltenberger.
She joins her parents, and siblings, Anne Siffling, Lois Derrickson, David, Dean, John, Charles Lowrey and twin, Genevieve Bye.
Memorial services will be held 3 p.m. SATURDAY, October 7th at the Billow FALLS Chapel, 1907 23rd St., with Rev. Ralph S. Wearstler officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the memorial service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Hospital or Akron Children's Hospital.
