Fredric Paul Chopko

Mr. Fredric Paul Chopko, born June 2,1960 in Newton Falls, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on July 21, 2018.
Fred's legacy continues through his wife of 33 years, Diane Chopko and three sons, Corey, Tyler, and Trevor Chopko; his mother, Mildred Chopko; his brother, Robert (Marsha) Chopko and his sister, Joan (Don) Lubonovic. He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Chopko; mother-in-law, Lois Reilly and niece, Lauren Reilly. Fred also leaves behind his father-in-law, Arthur Reilly; as well as Art (Lynn) Reilly, Brian (Gail) Reilly, Paul Reilly, Maribeth (Jeff) Fender, Denise (Kevin) Niedt and many nieces and nephews. Fred was a consummate father to his three loving sons, an unparalleled role model who demonstrated an unbreakable love to his wife and family through tireless devotion and affection.
In addition to being a life-affirming provider and protector for his family, Fred touched countless lives through his career of 35 years as a Financial Advisor and Vice President at Merrill Lynch following graduation from the University of Akron. In his free time, he enjoyed many friendships through hiking and camping, fishing, sport shooting, tennis, and traveling with Diane to visit his three sons. A true patriot, Fred deeply appreciated the American values of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness and exemplified these ideals in all that he touched.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 North Miller Road in Fairlawn on Wednesday, July 25th. Funeral services will be at St. Victor's Church at 3435 Everett Road Richfield, Ohio 44286 on Thursday, July 26th at 11am.
