Carol Coursen Obituary
Carol L. Coursen of Akron, OH died on June 18, 2017 in Maryland.
She was the wife of the late Lewis V. Coursen; mother of Dana Glover (Bob) of Maryland, Russell Martin of Idaho; stepmother of Dave Coursen (Nancy) of Iowa, Jim Coursen (Cathy) of New Jersey; sister of Jeff, Gary and Luke Wilson; mother in law of Mary Lou Coursen; friend of Edwin (Tommy) Thompson of Texas; also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren that gave her much joy.
Carol enjoyed cooking, bowling, knitting, traveling and hiking. She graduated from Weber State. Carol lived in Utah, Ohio, Texas and Baltimore. A special thank you to all of Carol's caregivers.
Family and friends will honor Carol's life at the family owned Evans Funeral Chapel and Cremation Services, 8800 Harford Rd., Parkville, MD 21234 on Tuesday from 10-11:30 A.M. at which time a funeral service will begin. Interment 11 A.M. Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Spring Grove Cemetery, 785 E. Washington St., Medina, OH 44256. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Carol's name may be made to Maryland SPCA, 3300 Falls Rd., Baltimore, MD 21211.
