Bessie (Coon) George
Bessie (Coon) George has been welcomed into heaven by her precious Lord and
Savior, Jesus Christ, and her beloved husband Dale E. George on May 25, 2017.
She also joined her parents, John and Estella Coon, her siblings and many other friends and family.
Those left to cherish her memory are her 3 daughters, Rebecca Pike-husband Dennis, Cynthia Proffitt-husband Kelley and Laura Atkinson-husband Jeffrey. She was blessed with 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Bessie has been a member of Community Church of Portage Lakes for 57 years. She worked at Akron University in the Registration Department and for 10 years she and Dale worked for the Billow Funeral Home in Portage Lakes.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 P.M. WEDNESDAY at Grace Bible Church, 5781 Manchester Rd., New Franklin 44203, with Pastor Denny George and Pastor Dale George officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at the church from 10 a.m. until the service begins. (Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel)
