Akron, OH – The Billow Funeral Homes & Crematory is making major updates to their facility on 85 N Miller Road in Fairlawn, OH to better serve families in Akron and surrounding areas. Major renovations, which include a complete interior remodel, all new furnishings, and the addition of a tranquil decorative stone water feature in the main foyer, began on May 16 and will conclude by the fall of 2022. The renovations will not interfere with the funeral home’s daily operations, as families will still be able to hold services at Billow’s while the renovations are being made. 

For the last 147 years, Billow’s has taken immense pride in offering the highest level of service to the community. Rather than selling to an out-of-town corporation like many other area funeral homes have recently done, the Billow family is reaffirming their mission of serving greater Akron by making major, long-term investments into their facilities to maintain their established standards of care, while improving the experience of families from start to finish. Updates will be made from floor to ceiling throughout the funeral home, modernizing every element, adding all new furnishings and décor, and bringing an atmosphere of brightness, elegance, and comfort.
