Virginia L. "Ginny" Macintosh passed away peacefully at Ohio Living - Rockynol Retirement Community on Monday, August 28, 2017.
Outside of her family, Ginny was most proud of being an Elder at Christ Presbyterian Church, Edina, MN where she was also President of the Women's group. She had been President of the Women's Group of Casa Linda Presbyterian Church, Dallas, TX, was a member of the Junior Board of Buffalo General Hospital and chaired several committees for the hospital's annual charity event. She attended SUNY New Paltz, NY. She was also a proud member of the General Society of Mayflower Descendants.
Her friends and family knew her for her dignified bearing and gracious and thoughtful manner.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Amherst and Florence Brown Lamb; her husband, Kenneth G. Macintosh and her two brothers, Amherst Lamb Jr. and Robert W. Lamb. Ginny is survived by her children, John D. Macintosh of Portsmouth, NH and Jean (Richard) Mankamyer of Bath, OH; her grandchildren, Tracy (Frederick) Yoder of Akron, OH, Kathryn Phillips of Beloit, Wl, William (Jillian) Macintosh of Boston, MA and Lucy Macintosh of Washington DC; two great¬grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be announced later. (Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel)
