Patricia M. Oseland

Patricia McClister Oseland passed away peacefully on Monday, January 8, 2018.
Patti was born on June 1, 1928, and was raised and lived her entire life in the Akron area. She married Zimri C. Oseland, Jr. in 1960, and they were married for 49 years until his passing.
Patti is survived by her daughter, Lani (Jeff) Murphy of Akron, OH, and by her son, Chris (Deb) Oseland of Wellington, CO. She also leaves grandchildren, Dylan (Jacintha) Murphy, Shelby (David) Albertz, Robyn (Noel) Navarro, Zimmy Oseland, and great-granddaughter, April Navarro.
Patti was very active in a number of charitable organizations and was past president of many. Among them were Bath Volunteers, the Bath Women's Club, Witan, Stan Hywet, and the Junior Women's Civic Club as well as the City Hospital (Summa) Women's Board.
Patti was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ for many years and, more recently, Bath United Church of Christ. While late in life, she professed her faith in Jesus Christ, and her family is assured of her salvation.
Visitation with the family will be held in the historic chapel at Bath Church UCC, 3980 W. Bath Rd, Akron, beginning at 10 a.m. Monday, January 15, followed by a brief memorial service at 11 a.m. with Rev. Maureen Webber officiating. Private interment at Rose Hill Burial Park.
