Mitchell Monte Obituary
Mitchell Giovanni Monte, 22, was born on April 8, 1995 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He passed away unexpectedly on March 17, 2018.
He graduated from Revere High School in 2013 and attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Mitchell was a firecracker of light and laughter. He always had a twinkle in his eye and made everyone laugh with his quick wit, yet underneath his funny and mischievous exterior was a deep ocean of love, intelligence, and gentleness.
He loved children, and had a beautiful bond with his special niece, Harper. He will forever be her guardian angel. Much to the amusement, yet at times chagrin, of his family and friends, he lived a life on his own wonderful terms, happily unrestrained by convention. Mitchell was a beautiful free spirit, a great athlete, and a good friend to all.
His adoration and love for his parents and his siblings, Mallory, Marcus, and Michael, was without bounds. He will forever be in our hearts as the baby of the family, a bright ray of light, a kind soul and a pure-hearted gift from God. Rest in peace sweet Mitchell. We will always love you and miss you dearly. Mitchell is the beloved son of Dr. James and Karla (nee Vierkorn) Monte; cherished brother of Mallory Monte (Douglas Miller), Marcus Monte and Michael (Meghan) Monte; loving grandson of Jack and Patricia (nee Evans) Vierkorn; and beloved by several aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Mary (nee Debus) Monte.
Friends will be received Wed., March 21, 2018 at the Billow Fairlawn Chapel, 85 North Miller Rd., Akron from 4 to 8 p.m. Visitation will also be on Thursday, March 22, at St. Victor Church, 3435 Everett Rd., Richfield, from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass at 10:30 a.m.
