Marylou McCoy died June 3, 2017.
Born January 27, 1927 in Canton, OH, Marylou attended Lehman High School and Hiram College. She married Dr. Don W. McCoy in 1947. Active in the community, Marylou served as long-standing president of the women's board at Akron General Medical Center; she was also president of Witan. Marylou loved playing golf, was an avid bridge player, and devoted many hours to her needlepoint creations.
She was preceded in death by husband, Don and brother, Robert McKinney. Marylou is survived by her children, Tom of Arizona, Sue of Kansas, Dan and Kitti of Akron.; grandchildren, Benjamin Edwards, Llorin Hunt, Austin Stees and Brennan McCoy; great-grandchildren, Kaden, Lexi, Zoe and Grant.
Visiting hours will be held from 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, June 7 at the Billow Fairlawn Chapel, 85 N Miller Rd. (Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel)
