John Henry Hercsek
John Henry Hercsek, age 75, died Monday, August 7, 2017, at 9:00 P.M. following a long bout with cancer and the adverse effects of the immunotherapy drug, Opdivo.
John Henry is the son of the late John and Violet (Nisula) Hercsek, originally from Munroe Falls, Ohio. A resident of Edinburg and Bath, John leaves his wife of 32 years, Deborah (Cutrone) Hercsek; his son, John Hercsek III (Consuela); his daughters, Tracy Riffle (Scott), Michele Hartley and Dana Kalista (Bryan); plus, eleven grandchildren. His family and lifelong friends will remember John as an inspirational and profound humanitarian, as well as a warrior, wrestler, fisherman and hunter.
"In honor of John, my husband: The Big Tree lives forever in the seeds it leaves behind."
As a personal request, there will not be memorial or funeral services.
