Joanne Daly

Joanne Daly passed away February 15, 2018 after a short illness.
She was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina as the first American child at the Goodyear Tire and Rubber plant on June 13, 1931. Joanne returned to the United States in 1942. She graduated from Buchtel High School and the University of Akron. Joanne taught at elementary schools in Akron, Las Vegas, and Cuyahoga Falls for over thirty years.
Preceded in death by her parents, H. Allen and Daisy Delaney; her husband of 58 years, E. Robert Daly; she is survived by her son, Michael (Valerie); daughter, Anne (Tony) Mourkas; and grandchildren, Maggie (Shawn) Rogers and ENS Michael Mourkas.
Joanne was a world traveler who enjoyed reading, working in her garden, and everything Disney. She will be missed by her family, friends, and her many students as she embarks on her journey "to infinity and beyond."
Friends may call 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, February 20, at the Billow FALLS Chapel, 1907 23rd St. (corner of 23rd St. and Falls Ave.), Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44223.
