Jerry "Judy" Cory

Jerry Judith Cory (nee Landis), 87, passed away on Tuesday, July 25th at Concordia at Sumner Retirement Community after a long struggle with cancer.

Beloved spouse of her late husband, Cleo; survived by her children, daughter, Cynthia (K.C. Bishop) and son, Steven (Peg); brother, Arthur "Skip" Landis (Mary Lou) and sister, Nancy Hendrickson; loving grandmother of 6 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Art and Lucia Landis and sister, Joanne Strohm.

In addition to Judy's 20 year career performing paralegal work for Attorney Dean E. Smith, she spent many hours supporting numerous volunteer organizations as well as generous support of many philanthropies and charities.

Memorial service will be held 3 p.m. SUNDAY, July 30th at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., with Rev. Nanette Pitt officiating. The family will receive family and friends beginning at 2 p.m. on SUNDAY prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, a tax-deductible contribution may be made to P.E.O.
