Hans Ferrara, 87, died August 17, 2017.
Born in Akron May 23, 1930 to Giacomo and Matilda Caniglia Ferrara, he was a U.S. Amy veteran and member of Guardian Angels Catholic Church. Hans retired from the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. with 40 years service.
Preceded in death by his wife, Marion L. Ferrara and sisters, Livia Ferrara and Genevieve Jurish; he is survived by his daughters, Stephanie Ferrara and Kristine (Dale) Landenberger; granddaughter, Mallory Marion Landenberger; nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. TUESDAY at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 1676 S. Cleveland-Massillon Rd., Copley. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., MONDAY from 4-7 p.m. Memorials may be made to Hospice of V.N.S., c/o AGMC Development Foundation, One Akron General Avenue, Akron, OH 44307.
