Elizabeth Kime Obituary
Elizabeth K. Kime, 98 years old, a lifelong resident of Akron, died May 12, 2018.
Elizabeth, a graduate of the University of Akron where she was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority, retired from the Akron Public Schools where she was a home economics teacher until her retirement in 1976. In addition, she was actively involved with Akron Family Services, PEO, Witan, New Covenant Community Church, The Akron Woman's City Club along with many other activities.
She married Joseph Kime in October of 1941. She is survived by children, Joseph (June) of Williamsburg, VA, James (Laurel) of Crossville, TN, and Paul of Akron; grandchildren, Tom, Kristin (Dan), and Lauren (Ryan); and 6 great grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be 2 p.m. Friday May 18th at New Covenant Community Church, 1587 W. Exchange St., Akron, OH 44313. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to New Covenant Community Church.
